GREENBANK SERVICES CLUB

A Heartfelt Thank You to Greenbank Services Club

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Greenbank Services Club and its dedicated staff for their incredible support of Kingstones Innovative Disability Support.

Greenbank Services Club has generously provided a venue to make our students look and feel professional. We are able to hold our Craft Studios reveal of the production made and host the grand finale of our Grace and Glamour Academy. This partnership has allowed us to create meaningful opportunities for our participants and foster a vibrant community.

Thank you, Greenbank Services Club, for believing in our mission and for your continued commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities. We are blessed to be a recipient of their “Together We Rise Community Fund’ which helped fund Supportive Aides and Equipment to enhance the service we can provide. Together, we are making a positive impact!

ADRA COMMUNITY CENTRE

The ADRA Community Care Centre in Logan Central, south of Brisbane, provides emergency relief and assistance to anyone in need, including people suffering the effects of domestic violence. There is an ADRA Op Shop on site and the centre also offers training in Certificates, Conservation and Land Management (CALM) and

Hospitality. As a certified ‘Work for the Dole’ provider, the centre also provides opportunities for people to get back into employment.

The team at ADRA Logan Central have always opened their doors and hearts for our Kingstones Innovative Disability Support Students. Our students regularly attend ADRA to participate in work experience. ADRA offers us the opportunity to be a part of a passionate team who gives back to the community. Our team enjoys being a part of the ADRA team and to be given opportunities to learn new skills.

Celebrating Formally Ever After: Empowering Students for Their Special Day

The Formally Ever After community program is dedicated to helping students who face challenges in attending their formal events due to financial constraints or difficulties in styling and grooming.

This wonderful initiative works through community members who generously gift formal wear to students in need, ensuring that every student feels safe and included. Formally Ever After provides a supportive environment where young people can receive a helping hand.

We are incredibly grateful for Tammy and her team, who have always stood by Kingstones Innovative Disability Support and supported our programs. Tammy and her team played a pivotal role in dressing the Grace and Glamour Academy Class of 2022, 2023 and just recently, 2024.

We feel truly thankful to collaborate with such caring and community-focused superstars. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of students, helping them celebrate their milestones with confidence and joy!

Lighthouse Care is a non-profit charity that provides free and discounted food to families struggling to make ends meet through low-cost grocery stores and home delivery. But more than that, they are a group of people who passionately want to help bring hope to people.

We at Kingstones Innovative Disability Support are honoured that we have been able to make this connection and be a part of such a selfless organisation and to assist where needed to bring hope to our community.

We would like to thank Deb and her team for being so welcoming and to allow us this opportunity.

The Kingstones IDS Crew have the pleasure of being able to participate in work experience at Lighthouse Care in Loganholme.
