Meet Anna.
Support / Program facilitator

Anna has recently joined Kingstones and has 5 years’ experience as an Enrolled Nurse. Anna has certifications and clinical experience in medication management, wound care, trauma response, psychological first aid, seizure management, PEG, NGT, IDC, stoma management, adult and paediatric diabetes.

Despite this, Anna has developed a passion for psychiatric and geriatric nursing, where a more person-centred approach is adopted to support clients through vulnerable times and maintain optimum quality of life.

Having grown up with two sisters with disabilities, “I have witnessed a number of challenges, barriers and adversities that they have been required to overcome. I believe it is this personal experience that has fostered a passion for advocating for the rights, freedoms and inclusiveness of people with disabilities.

Throughout my short time at Kingstones Music, I have been honoured to work alongside our team of staff and clients, enjoying the culture of embracing each other’s individuality and capabilities, and how this inclusiveness strengthens the overarching unity of the team as a whole”.

Meet Raeleen.
Transport Op / Guidance Counsellor

Raeleen’s role at Kingstones Innovative Disability Support contributes to the start of the day for members. As a transport driver, Raeleen picks up and drops off members at their homes. Every day, Raeleen brings our young adults to work (as they like to call it). In addition to helping them feel safe, Raeleen enjoys helping them feel excited about what’s to come. Raeleen’s approach to creating a positive atmosphere involves greeting each person with a warm smile and encouraging words. By showing genuine interest and enthusiasm, Raeleen makes certain each journey is filled with positivity and anticipation. Having a voice is very important to Raeleen, which is why Raeleen loves talking about members’ daily adventures and general life. Our staff also benefit from Raeleen’s experience, communication skills, and ability to interact with people. Raeleen’s presence brings the stillness and peace we all need in our daily lives.
